Calamba City, Laguna – The City of Calamba has once again been recognized for its outstanding achievements in promoting nutrition and health as it was awarded the prestigious Nutrition Honor Award during the 2024 CALABARZON Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony. This honor marks Calamba as one of the top Nutrition Honor Award Performers in Laguna Province.

Mayor Ross Rizal expressed his pride and gratitude for this achievement in his message titled “Alay na Karangalan Para sa Calambeños,” emphasizing the city’s commitment to improving the health and livelihood of its citizens. He shared, “It is a great honor to be among the leading municipalities and cities championing proper nutrition and health for our people. Our service to each Calambeño is always focused on enhancing health and livelihood.”

He thanked the residents for their unwavering trust and support, urging everyone to continue working together toward recovery and progress. The mayor concluded his message with a call for unity in building a stronger, healthier Calamba, saying, “Sama-sama po tayong magtutulungan tungo sa patuloy na pagbangon at tagumpay!”

This award highlights Calamba’s dedication to fostering a community rooted in health, wellness, and development, a commitment that Mayor Rizal pledges to uphold for the benefit of all Calambeños.
