Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal delivered a message to celebrate this remarkable recognition, emphasizing the collective efforts that led to this achievement.

The SGLG award, regarded as one of the highest distinctions in local governance, is given to cities that demonstrate excellence in good governance, transparency, and service delivery. Mayor Rizal highlighted how this award reflects the dedication of Calamba’s local government to providing fair and efficient services to its citizens. “Sa pagkamit ng Seal of Good Local Governance Awardee 2024 mula sa DILG, napatunayang muli ang kahusayan at dedikasyon ng pamahalaang lokal sa pagsusulong ng makatarungan at masigasig na serbisyo,” he shared.

Mayor Rizal extended his gratitude to his dedicated team and to the people of Calamba, who continuously support the city’s initiatives and projects. Under his leadership, Calamba has established programs that benefit every sector, from education and health to economic development and environmental sustainability. These efforts aim to uplift the quality of life for all Calambeños.

He further explained that this recognition is not just a badge of success but a testament to the city’s collective progress toward building a prosperous community. “Ang pagkilalang ito ay hindi lamang simbolo ng tagumpay, kundi patunay din ng mga hakbang patungo sa mas maunlad at mas progresibong pamayanan,” he stated, expressing pride in the strides Calamba has made.

Mayor Rizal believes that this achievement is shared with every citizen of Calamba. He emphasized that through the continuous support and cooperation of each resident, the city can reach even greater heights. His vision for Calamba involves a sustained push for development projects that benefit everyone, ensuring that every resident feels the impact of these advancements.
