Calamba City, Laguna – The spirit of giving and unity filled the air as Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal personally led the Pamaskong Handog 2024, ensuring no Calambeño family—rich or poor—was left behind.

On Day 1 of the program, Mayor Rizal, alongside Vice Mayor Angelito “Totie” Lazaro Jr., Congresswoman Charisse “CHA” Hernandez, and the Sangguniang Panlungsod, visited Barangay Canlubang to distribute holiday gifts. With his signature hands-on leadership, Mayor Rizal personally handed the gift packs to residents, symbolizing his deep commitment to serving the community.

“Nais naming iparamdam sa lahat ng pamilyang Calambeño, mayaman man o mahirap, ang diwa ng Kapaskuhan. Ang programang ito ay para sa lahat,” Mayor Rizal said.

A testament to this inclusive approach was the distribution of Pamaskong Handog at Avida Nuvali, an exclusive subdivision in Calamba City. Residents were pleasantly surprised as Mayor Rizal and his team extended the program to their community, emphasizing that every Calambeño family is part of the city’s collective celebration.

“Ang Pamaskong Handog ay simbolo ng pagkakaisa at pagmamahal sa bawat isa. Dito sa Calamba, walang pinipili—lahat ay bahagi ng ating pamilya,” Mayor Rizal added.

Residents, from all walks of life, expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the thoughtful gesture, highlighting how the initiative bridges social divides during the holiday season.

Team CalambaGO is set to visit more barangays in the coming days, continuing to spread joy and the true spirit of Christmas across the city.
