Held as part of the regional qualifiers for the Philippine Tourism Awards (PTA), the CALABARZON Tourism Excellence Awards celebrates the achievements of Local Government Units (LGUs) with outstanding contributions to regional tourism. Calamba City stood out among its peers, recording remarkable growth in both same-day and overnight tourist arrivals.
