Isang lalaki ang inaresto ng mga awtoridad matapos mahuli sa akto ng pagyoyosi sa pampublikong lugar sa Malanting Street, Barangay 183, Caloocan City noong Miyerkules ng madaling araw, Enero 22, 2025, bandang 1:55 AM.
Kinilala ang suspek na si Benedicto Jr. Lumen y Llagas, 44 taong gulang, may asawa, isang mason, at residente ng Gumamela Street, Barangay 186, Caloocan City.
Ayon sa ulat ng Amparo Police Substation 15, nagsasagawa ng mobile patrol ang kanilang mga tauhan nang makita ang suspek na nagyoyosi sa pampublikong lugar. Nilapitan siya ng mga pulis para kausapin at hanapan ng identification card, ngunit tumakbo ang lalaki upang tumakas.
Matapos ma-corner, nakuha mula sa kanya ang isang plastic sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na 4.8 gramo at tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng PHP 32,640.
Ang suspek ay binasahan ng kanyang mga karapatan at nahaharap sa mga kasong paglabag sa Section 11, Article II ng RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), Article 151 ng Revised Penal Code (Resistance and Disobedience), at Anti-Smoking City Ordinance.
Sa kasalukuyan, ang suspek ay nasa kustodiya ng Amparo Police Substation 15 para sa karagdagang imbestigasyon at proseso.
