Calamba City, Laguna — The much-awaited Double A-classified slaughterhouse in Calamba is nearing completion and will soon be operational, marking another milestone in the city’s journey towards progress under Mayor Rizal’s administration.
During his inspection today, Mayor Rizal closely examined the facility, including the newly constructed road designed to streamline its operations. From a previously neglected state, the slaughterhouse has been revitalized through the “Ramdam na Reporma” program, symbolizing a commitment to sustainable development.
Mayor Rizal proudly shared, “We continue to rise above the negligence of the past. With the opening of this slaughterhouse, our city will finally have a safer, more efficient, and high-quality facility for livestock management.”
This progressive step ensures a brighter future for Calamba as it strengthens food safety and supports local livelihoods through responsible and transparent governance.
