2 Security Guards, Arestado sa Ilegal na Pagpapaputok ng Baril sa Caloocan

Caloocan City, Enero 28, 2025 – Naaresto ang dalawang security guard matapos ireklamo ng kanilang kasamahan dahil sa umano’y pagbabanta at iligal na pagpapaputok ng baril sa Magdalena Construction Site, Brgy. 173, Camarin Road, Caloocan City.

Ayon sa ulat, naganap ang insidente bandang 3:20 AM at nai-report sa Congressional Police Substation 9 bandang 8:00 AM. Agad isinagawa ang pag-aresto sa mga suspek pagsapit ng 8:30 AM, at natapos ang imbestigasyon bandang 10:20 AM.

Kinilala ang nagreklamo na si Michael Morandate y Tanay, isang security guard na residente ng Sitio Paenaan, Baras, Antipolo Rizal. Isang kasamahan niyang security guard na si Warren Estacio y Sait ang tumayong saksi sa insidente.

Naaresto ang mga suspek na sina Vince Aleck Bonito y Consuelo, residente ng Maligaya St., Pasong Putik, Quezon City, at Joseph Singo y Catabuan, residente ng Phase 9, Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.

Ayon sa Congressional Police Substation 9, isang concerned citizen ang tumawag upang i-report ang umano’y pagpapaputok ng baril sa lugar. Agad nagresponde ang mga pulis at inaresto ang mga suspek.

Nakumpiska mula sa kanila ang dalawang Caliber .38 revolver. Ang isa ay may apat na basyong bala, habang ang isa naman ay may dalawang basyong bala at apat na buhay na bala.

Nahaharap ang mga suspek sa kasong Grave Threat, Illegal Discharge of Firearms, at paglabag sa RA 10591 at BP 881. Kasalukuyan silang nasa kustodiya ng Congressional Police Substation 9 para sa karagdagang imbestigasyon.
