Calamba City Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal led a heartwarming Valentine’s Day Special dedicated to senior citizens, proving that love knows no age. Through his initiative “Puso Para sa Mga Lolo’t Lola,” the city government celebrated the occasion by honoring and appreciating the elderly, ensuring they felt valued and cherished.

“Sa araw ng mga puso, walang mas hihigit pa sa paglalaan ng oras at pagmamahal sa ating mga minamahal na senior citizens,” Mayor Rizal emphasized. He highlighted that beyond the festivities, the event was a testament to the administration’s commitment to caring for the elderly and fostering a stronger, more compassionate community.

The celebration was filled with laughter, stories, and shared moments that reflected the true spirit of love and belonging. Seniors expressed gratitude for the thoughtful gathering, which made them feel remembered and respected.

Under Mayor Rizal’s “Ramdam na Reporma” governance, programs for the welfare of senior citizens remain a priority. “Ang bawat puso ay may tahanan sa pagmamahal ng ating komunidad,” he reiterated, assuring that the city will continue to uplift and support its elderly population.

This Valentine’s event is just one of many initiatives aimed at fostering inclusive development in Calamba, ensuring that every citizen—regardless of age—feels the warmth of genuine public service.
