Truck Blaze in Cabuyao City Quickly Contained by Firefighters

Cabuyao City Fire Station promptly responded to a vehicular fire that erupted on the National Highway, Brgy. Niugan, Cabuyao City, Laguna, on February 14, 2025. The fire involved a truck owned by Clouded Canopy Testing and Research, managed by Enrique Ramond Hemedez. The report of the fire came at 11:35 AM, triggering a swift response from the fire station’s Shift B Delta Fire Truck team.

Under the leadership of SFO1 Rome A. Dela Peña, who served as the Ground Commander and Safety Officer, the Delta Fire Truck arrived on the scene at 11:37 AM, just two minutes after being dispatched. The fire was declared under control by 11:40 AM and was completely extinguished by 11:45 AM, with the situation being classified as a 1st Alarm incident.

Despite the rapid response, the estimated damages amounted to approximately ₱800,000. Fortunately, no fatalities or injuries were reported. However, five families were affected due to the fire, highlighting the collateral impact of the incident on the local community.

Authorities are commending the efficient response of the Cabuyao Fire Station, which limited the spread of the fire and avoided damage to nearby structures. With only one fire truck dispatched, the team’s prompt action underscores their preparedness and commitment to public safety.

The Cabuyao City Fire Station assures residents that they remain vigilant in protecting lives and properties from fire-related incidents.
