DALAWANG HIGH-VALUE TARGET SA DROGA, ARESTADO SA CALOOCAN

Caloocan City – Arestado ang dalawang lalaki na high-value target sa pagtutulak ng droga sa isinagawang buy-bust operation ng District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) ng Caloocan City. Ang operasyon ay naganap noong Linggo, Pebrero 16, 2025, bandang 4:50 ng madaling araw sa West Service Road, Barangay 160, Caloocan City.

Kinilala ang mga suspek na sina Noel Donseras y Roncales, alyas “Mateo,” 52 taong gulang, kasal, isang pedicab driver na tubong Eastern Samar at residente ng Balon Bato Service Road, Quezon City; at Roldan Cruz y Castillo, 46 taong gulang, kasal, isang taxi driver na residente ng No. 090 Libis Marungko, Angat, Bulacan.

Ayon sa ulat, ang buy-bust operation ay isinagawa ng mga operatiba ng DDEU sa pangunguna ni PMSG Rolando T. Tagay at sa direktang superbisyon ni PLTCOL Timothy B. Aniway Jr., hepe ng DDEU. Ang operasyon ay may koordinasyon sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) na may control number 10001-022025-0426.

Itinanggi ng mga suspek na hindi sila nagbebenta ng illegal na droga ngunit inaming gumagamit sila nito.

Nasamsam mula sa mga suspek ang isang plastic sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na 57 gramo at tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng PHP 387,600.00.

Matapos ang kanilang pagkakaaresto, binasahan ang mga suspek ng kanilang mga karapatan. Nahaharap sila sa kasong paglabag sa Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) kaugnay ng Section 26 (Conspiracy) at Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) sa ilalim ng Article II ng Republic Act 9165 o ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Sa kasalukuyan, ang mga suspek ay nasa kustodiya ng District Drug Enforcement Unit para sa karagdagang imbestigasyon at proseso.
