BICOL’S TOP REGIONAL MOST WANTED ARRESTED IN EASTERN SAMAR

Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City—After years in hiding, Bicol’s No. 1 regional most wanted person was finally arrested in Eastern Samar on February 18, 2025.

The operation was carried out by personnel from the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and Labo Municipal Police Station (MPS) of Camarines Norte PPO, in coordination with Borongan City Police Station (CPS). The team served the warrant of arrest to the suspect, identified by the alias “Dan”, Roldan Roldan.

Dan, 34 years old, single, and employed as a poultry worker, is a resident of Sitio Cainta, Barangay Balacdas, Borongan City, Eastern Samar, and a native of Purok 7, Barangay Tigbinan, Labo, Camarines Norte. He is facing eight counts of statutory rape by sexual assault in relation to Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act), with no bail recommended for each charge.

The arrested suspect is currently under the custody of Borongan City Police Station for proper documentation and disposition, pending his turnover to the court of origin.

Through intelligence-sharing, surveillance, and joint operations, PRO5 remains steadfast in its mission to ensure that criminals are held accountable and brought to justice.
