ARESTADO ANG ISANG LALAKI SA PAG-IINGAT NG ILLEGAL NA BARIL SA NORTH CALOOCAN

Isang matagumpay na pag-implementa ng search warrant ang isinagawa ng mga PNP personnels ng Congressional Police Substation 9 (SS9) sa pangunguna ni PLT Ian T. Fajardo, Deputy Commander ng SS9 CCPS, at may direktang superbisyon ni PMAJ Segundino R. Bulan Jr., Station Commander ng SS9 CCPS.

Arestado ang isang lalaki gamit ang search warrant noong February 26, 2025, Linggo ng umaga, bandang 8:30 AM. Natapos ang operasyon ng bandang 9:30 AM at nadala ang suspek sa opisina ng bandang 9:50 AM sa lugar ng No. 70 NPC Lower, Brgy. 173, Congress, Caloocan City.

Nakilala ang suspek bilang si Elvin Reynaldo y Tumbado, 43 taong gulang, lalaki, walang asawa, at isang construction worker na residente ng No. 70 NPC Lower, Barangay 173, Congress, Caloocan City.

Ayon sa ulat, isinagawa ng mga PNP personnels ng SS9 ang implementation ng Search Warrant No. SW-442 (2025) laban kay Elvin Reynaldo y Tumbado. Ang search warrant ay nilagdaan ni Hon. Rosalia I. Hipolito-Bunagan, 2nd Vice Executive Judge ng RTC Branch 232 ng Caloocan City, noong February 25, 2025, para sa paglabag sa Section 28 ng RA 10591 (Comprehensive Law of Firearms and Ammunition Act). Bago nagsimula ang operasyon, ipinaalam sa nasabing respondent na ito ay nairekord gamit ang body worn camera at alternative camera, kasama ang media representative na si Renato Pedroche at Barangay Kagawad na si Hector M. Leano ng Brgy. 173, Caloocan City.

Itinanggi ng suspek ang paratang at pilit na itinatanong kung saan galing ang mga nakuha sa kanya.

Narecover sa suspek ang mga sumusunod:
Isang (1) unit ng caliber .38 revolver na may serial number 172452, Tatlong (3) piraso ng live ammunition para sa caliber .38

Binasahan ang suspek ng kanyang karapatan at nahaharap siya sa kasong paglabag sa Section 28 ng RA 10591 (Comprehensive Law of Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act). Sa kasalukuyan, ang suspek ay nasa kustodiya ng Congressional Police Substation 9 (SS9) CCPS para sa karagdagang proseso.
