CALAMBA CITY, LAGUNA – More than 2,000 college students in Calamba received their second-semester educational financial assistance under the Iskolar ni Rizal Program in a payout event held at the Jose Rizal Coliseum.

Spearheaded by Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal, the scholarship program continues to be a vital initiative supporting Calambeño youth in their pursuit of higher education. As an institutionalized ordinance, the Iskolar ni Rizal Program ensures long-term benefits for future generations, reinforcing the city’s commitment to strengthening its education sector.

“We always prioritize what is best for our youth, not just for today but for their future aspirations. Through this program, we are making sure that no one is left behind in the progress of the Bayan ng Bayani,” Mayor Rizal emphasized.

Under the CalamBAGONG Pamahalaan, education remains a key priority, ensuring that opportunities for learning and growth are accessible to all.
