Construction Worker Arestado sa Caloocan dahil sa Ilegal na Baril

Caloocan City – Isang matagumpay na operasyon ang isinagawa ng mga tauhan ng Hillcrest Police Substation 8 (SS8) CCPS noong Miyerkules ng gabi, Marso 19, 2025, na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto ng isang lalaki sa bisa ng search warrant para sa paglabag sa batas sa iligal na baril at bala.

Ang operasyon, na pinangunahan ni PLT Elmer S. Mafe, Deputy Commander ng SS8 CCPS, sa ilalim ng direktang superbisyon ni PCAPT Gilmer A. Mariñas, Station Commander ng SS8 CCPS, ay isinagawa sa No. 21 North Olympus Annex, Barangay 172, Caloocan City, dakong 11:20 PM at nagtapos ng 11:55 PM.

Kinilala ang naarestong suspek na si Sabino Endaya Jr. y Tindoc, 47 taong gulang, isang construction worker at residente ng nasabing lugar. Ang search warrant na ginamit sa operasyon ay may numero SW-448(2025) at nilagdaan ni Hon. Rosalia I. Hipolito-Bunagan, 2nd Vice Executive Judge ng RTC Branch 232 ng Caloocan City.

Sa isinagawang paghahalughog, nakumpiska mula sa suspek ang isang Caliber .45 pistol na may serial number 110874, tatlong piraso ng live ammunition para sa Caliber .45, at isang magazine.

Ayon sa pulisya, bago simulan ang operasyon ay maayos na naipaalam sa suspek ang proseso, kasabay ng paggamit ng body-worn camera (TD Tech, serial number 5203109B19104301) at isang iPhone 15 Pro Max bilang alternatibong recording device. Kasama rin sa operasyon ang isang kinatawan mula sa media at isang barangay kagawad mula sa Barangay 172, Caloocan City.

Matapos ang kanyang pagkakaaresto, binasahan ng kanyang mga karapatan ang suspek, na ngayon ay nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Section 28 ng Republic Act 10591 o ang Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

Sa imbestigasyon, inamin ni Endaya na nabili lamang niya ang nasabing baril mula sa isang kaibigan. Sa kasalukuyan, siya ay nasa kustodiya ng Hillcrest Police Substation 8 para sa kaukulang legal na proseso.
