High-Value Drug Suspect Falls in Cavite PNP Bust; ₱340K Worth of Shabu Seized

A High-Value Individual (HVI) listed in the Cavite Police Provincial Office’s (PPO) Drug Watchlist was arrested in a successful buy-bust operation on March 19, 2025, at Brgy. Datu Esmael, Dasmariñas City. Authorities also seized ₱340,000 worth of suspected shabu.

The joint operation, conducted by the Cavite PPO Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Dasmariñas Component City Police Station (CCPS) around 6:00 PM, led to the capture of alias “Nune,” 26, a resident of Waling Waling Street, Brgy. Datu Esmael.

During the operation, police confiscated three plastic sachets containing approximately 50 grams of suspected shabu, along with buy-bust money used in the sting.

PBGEN Paul Kenneth T. Lucas, Regional Director of PRO CALABARZON, commended the operatives for their unwavering efforts in the campaign against illegal drugs.

“I commend the diligent efforts of our operatives in Cavite for their successful operation that led to the arrest of a high-value drug suspect and the seizure of ₱340K worth of illegal drugs. It serves as a clear message that the PNP will continue to track down and apprehend those involved in drug trafficking and other criminal activities,” RD Lucas stated.

The arrested suspect is currently in the custody of PDEU, Cavite PPO, for documentation and further investigation. Charges for violating Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being prepared for filing in court.
