Caloocan City – Dalawang lalaki ang naaresto sa isang matagumpay na foot patrolling operation ng mga tauhan ng West Grace Park Police Substation 3 (SS3) ng Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) noong Linggo ng madaling araw, Marso 23, 2025, sa Stotsenburg Street, Barangay 69.

Kinilala ang mga naarestong suspek na sina Mark Lester Telan y Mañalac, 29 taong gulang, isang construction worker, at Kim Alvarez y Soriano, 18 taong gulang, isang seller.

Ayon sa ulat ng pulisya, habang nagsasagawa ng foot patrol sa ilalim ng direktang superbisyon ni PCapt. Ronald Allan T. Soriano, napansin ng mga operatiba ang dalawang lalaki – isa ay walang pang-itaas at ang isa naman ay naninigarilyo sa pampublikong lugar. Nang lapitan at kausapin sila ng mga pulis, bigla silang tumakbo, dahilan upang habulin at tuluyang maaresto.

Nakuha mula sa mga suspek ang dalawang heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na 10.2 gramo at tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng Php 69,360.00.

Nahaharap ang mga suspek sa mga kasong paglabag sa ordinansa ng lungsod (half-naked at paninigarilyo sa pampublikong lugar), Article 151 ng Revised Penal Code (pagtanggi sa awtoridad), at Section 11 ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Sa kasalukuyan, nasa kustodiya na ng West Grace Park Police Substation 3 ang mga suspek para sa kaukulang disposisyon at pagsasampa ng kaso.
