Calamba City, Laguna – March 24, 2025 — Another step toward modernization, the City Government of Calamba officially launched CalambaGO Connect, an city-wide free WiFi initiative, in a grand event at Calamba City Hall. This transformative project, spearheaded by Mayor Ross Rizal and Vice Mayor Toti Lazaro with Sangguniang Panlungsod, aims to provide free internet access in 32 public areas across Calamba.

Mayor Ross Rizal emphasized the city’s commitment to improving the lives of Calambeños through innovation and accessibility.

“We continue to push for a more progressive, more convenient, and better quality of life for every Calambeño. With the support of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, we remain dedicated to delivering meaningful projects and services that benefit all sectors of society.”

He further added, “With a government that truly cares, no one is left behind—everyone is included, everyone moves forward!”

The CalambaGO Connect project is expected to enhance public access to digital resources, benefiting students, workers, and local businesses. This initiative solidifies Calamba City’s vision of becoming a smart, connected, and inclusive community.
