Four Drug Suspects Arrested, Drug Den Dismantled in Taytay, Rizal Operation

TAYTAY, Rizal — A major anti-drug operation of joint operatives, four individuals were arrested and a suspected drug den was dismantled during a buy-bust operation conducted on Langka Street, Samagta, Barangay San Juan, Taytay, Rizal, on the evening of April 26, 2025.

The joint forces of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Rizal Provincial Office and the Regional Intelligence Unit 4A PIT Rizal IG carried out the successful operation at around 11:00 PM. Authorities confiscated approximately 10 grams of suspected shabu, estimated to be worth Php 68,000.00, along with buy-bust money and various drug paraphernalia.

The arrested suspects were identified by their aliases as Jun, 34, male, unemployed; Jimrey, 33, male, unemployed; Glendalyn, 48, female, street sweeper; and Ronaldo, 51, male, construction worker.

All four suspects are facing charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Authorities stressed that the operation is part of ongoing efforts to eradicate illegal drug activities in Rizal and nearby provinces.
