Lalaki, Arestado sa North Caloocan Dahil sa Illegal na Pag-iingat ng Baril

Caloocan City — Arestado ang isang lalaki sa bisa ng Search Warrant No. SW-487 (2025) dahil sa ilegal na pag-iingat ng baril, sa isang operasyon na isinagawa ng mga tauhan ng Congressional Police Substation 9 (SS9) ng Caloocan City Police Station nitong Sabado, Abril 26, 2025.

Pinangunahan ni PMaj. Segundino R. Bulan Jr., hepe ng SS9, ang matagumpay na implementasyon ng search warrant bandang alas-8:00 ng umaga sa Block 88, Lot 2, Northville 2B, Barangay 171, North Caloocan. Kinilala ang suspek na si Dexter Bautista y Caballes, na dinala sa himpilan ng pulisya bandang alas-9:00 ng umaga.

Ang operasyon ay isinagawa alinsunod sa warrant na pirmado ni Hon. Rosalia I. Hipolito-Bunagan, 2nd Vice Executive Judge ng RTC Branch 232 ng Caloocan City, para sa paglabag sa Section 28 ng Republic Act No. 10591 o ang Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

Ayon sa ulat, bago isinagawa ang pagsalakay ay naipabatid sa suspek ang operasyon at ito ay naitala gamit ang body camera (SN: 5203109A09101785) alinsunod sa A.M. No. 21-06-08-SC, kasama rin ang dalawang mobile phones bilang alternatibong recording devices. Kasama rin sa operasyon ang isang media representative at isang barangay kagawad mula sa Barangay 171.

Narekober mula sa suspek ang: Isang (1) kalibre .38 na revolver na walang serial number, Dalawang (2) bala ng kalibre .38

Binasahan ng karapatan ang suspek at kasalukuyang nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Section 28 ng RA 10591. Ayon sa kanya, ang naturang baril ay nabili umano sa isang kaibigan.

Sa ngayon ay nasa kustodiya na ng Congressional Police Substation 9 si Bautista para sa karagdagang imbestigasyon.
