MGA NAGPAPANGGAP NA TAGA COMELEC SA STA. CRUZ, LAGUNA, INARESTO

Hawak na ng kapulisan ang tatlong indibidwal na nagpakilalang mga kawani ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) at nagsagawa ng hindi awtorisadong inspeksyon sa mga election paraphernalia sa Santa Cruz, Laguna noong Mayo 5.

Batay sa isinagawang imbestigasyon ng Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station, alas-4 ng hapon ng mayroon umanong tauhan ng COMELEC ang nagsawa ng inspeksyon sa Silangan Elementary School sa Barangay San Pablo Norte.

Nagpakilala ang mga indibidwal bilang kawani mula sa main office ng COMELEC, habang nagpakita rin ng identification card na mula umano sa ‘COMELEC Task Force Kontra Bigay’ na kanilang ginamit upang makapasok sa paaralan at kunan ng larawan ang mga Automated Counting Machines (ACM).

Agad na nakipag-ugnayan ang Sta. Cruz Police sa COMELEC Provincial Office ng Laguna at kanilang napag-alaman na hindi konektado sa COMELEC ang mga naturang suspek at wala silang awtorisasyon na magsagawa inspeksyon sa iba’t ibang polling center.

Matapos ang naturang insidente, inaresto ang mga suspek at dinala sa Santa Cruz MPS para sa karampatang dokumentasyon at pagsasampa ng kaso.

Sa isang pahayag, tiniyak ni Police Regional Office 4A Regional Director Police Brigadier General Paul Kenneth T Lucas sa publiko na sisiguraduhin ng kapulisan ang mahigpit na pagbabantay upang makamit ang isang malinis at payapang halalan sa rehiyon ng Calabarzon.

Pinaalalahan rin niya ang publiko na maging mapagmatiyag anumang oras at agad na makipag-ugnayan sa mga awtoridad, i-report ang anumang kahina-hinalang aktibidad upang mapanatili ang integridad at seguridad ng Halalan ngayong darating na Mayo 12. | via MO, RPIO
