Suspect Arrested for Illegal Firearms in Camarines Sur

Camarines Sur – On May 30, 2025, personnel from 95SAC, 9th Special Action Battalion of this Unit provided tactical support to Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Camarines Sur Provincial Field Unit (PFU), Provincial Intelligence Unit, Camarines Sur PPO together with other PNP units during the implementation of Search Warrant that resulted in the arrest of a.k.a. Albert in Sitio Aran-Aran, Brgy. Mantila, Sipocot, Camarines Sur.

Albert was arrested through the implementation of Search Warrant No. 2025-7 for violation of R.A. 10591 “Comprehensive Laws on Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act” dated May 28, 2025 issued by Hon. Cecilia R. Borja-Soler, Executive Judge, Regional Trial Court, 5th Judicial Region, Libmanan, Camarines Sur. Seized items were one improvised 12-gauge Shotgun with six rounds of ammunition, and one COLT MK IV SERIES 80 caliber .45 pistol with 15 rounds of ammunition, two magazine and one black holster.

CIDG Camarines Sur PFU took custody of the arrested suspect for documentation and proper disposition.

This successful operation underscores the authorities’ commitment to combating illegal firearms and explosives, safeguarding communities, and upholding justice. (SAF)
