Calamba City, Laguna — As the new academic year 2025–2026 approaches, Mayor Ross Rizal proudly took part in the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela 2025, highlighting the spirit of unity and community care among Calambeños.

“As the father of Calamba City, it is an honor for me to be part of Brigada Eskwela 2025,” Mayor Rizal said. “This is more than just preparing classrooms — it’s a living testimony of our bayanihan and shared compassion for our youth.”

Volunteers from all walks of life — teachers, parents, students, and community members — came together to clean, repair, and ready public schools throughout the city. The Mayor praised the collective effort, acknowledging that such collaboration ensures a safer and more welcoming learning environment for every student.

Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide initiative that encourages local stakeholders to support school maintenance before classes begin. In Calamba, the program reflects the city’s deep commitment to education and civic involvement.

“With unity, we can guarantee a better and safer return to school for our children,” Mayor Rizal emphasized, reinforcing Calamba’s dedication to nurturing future generations through cooperation and shared responsibility.
