Emergency Water Service Interruption in Calamba: Residents Urged to Store Enough Water

Calamba City, Laguna – The Calamba Water District (CWD) has issued an urgent advisory regarding an emergency water service interruption caused by a critical leak on one of its main pipelines.

📅 Schedule of Interruption:
June 16–17, 2025 (Monday to Tuesday)
🕗 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM

The disruption is due to the emergency leak repair of an 8-inch Asbestos Cement Pipe (ACP) mainline, which will cause low water pressure to no water at all in the following areas:

Affected Barangays:

Brgy. 7

Juliano

San Jose

Lingga

Palingon

Sampiruhan

Calamba Water District General Manager Exequiel Aguilar Jr. strongly advised residents to store enough clean water for use throughout the night and into the next day while repairs are ongoing.

> “We appeal for the cooperation of our customers in the affected areas. Please store adequate water before the scheduled interruption to minimize inconvenience,” Aguilar said.

CWD extends its apologies for the disruption and assures the public that repair crews will work swiftly to restore normal water service as soon as possible.
