QUEZON — Patay ang isang lalaking suspek sa pagpaslang sa isang bise alkalde ng Quezon matapos makaengkwentro ng mga awtoridad sa Sitio Santa Ana, Brgy. Malao-a, Tayabas City, nitong Biyernes ng umaga, June 20, 2025.
Base sa report ng Tayabas City PNP, ang napaslang na suspek ay isang 52 -anyos na residente ng nabanggit na lugar.
Ayon pa sa ulat ng Tayabas City Police Station, dakong alas-5:00 ng umaga nang magsilbi sana ng warrant of arrest ang mga pulis laban sa suspek para sa kasong murder, paglabag sa RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), at RA 4136 (Land Transportation and Traffic Code).
Subalit nang mamataan umano nito ang pagdating ng mga pulis, ay agad nitong pinagbabaril kung kaya napilitang gumanti ang mga awtoridad ng putok.na nagresulta ng mga tama ng bala sa katawan ng naturang suspek.
Isinugod pa ito sa ospital subalit idineklara itong dead on arrival ng doktor,narekober mula sa suspek ang isang kalibre .45 na baril na kargado ng mga bala.
Sa report pa rin ng pulisya, ang napatay na suspek ay isa sa mga akusado sa pagkamatay ni dating Mayor Danilo Amat ng bayan ng Dolores, Quezon, na pinagbabaril sa harap ng tanggapan ng isang abogado noong Hulyo 22, 2022, sa San Pablo City, Laguna.
