PNP Chief Torre Underscores Role of Forensic Medicine in Justice System at PFMS Conferment Ceremony

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police General Nicolas DeLoso Torre III served as the distinguished Keynote Speaker during the Conferment Ceremony of the Philippine Forensic Medicine Society Inc. (PFMS) General Assembly, held on July 5, 2025, at The B Hotel in Quezon City.

In his keynote address, PGen Torre emphasized the indispensable role of forensic medicine in the administration of justice, highlighting how scientific expertise strengthens the investigative work of law enforcement agencies. He commended the continued collaboration between the police force and the forensic community in upholding truth, integrity, and professionalism in public service.

A major highlight of the event was the Presentation and Conferment of Diplomates, which included the formal reading of citations, awarding of certificates, oath-taking of new diplomates, and their official confirmation led by PFMS President, Police Colonel Jericho Angelito Q. Cordero, MD.

The event marked a significant milestone in the professional development of forensic practitioners, reaffirming their vital contribution to truth-seeking and justice delivery in the country.
