Mayor Ross Rizal Brings Aid and Hope to Brgy. Mabato After Tornado Incident

Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal personally visited Brgy. Mabato, Calamba City, Laguna, to lead a series of assistance efforts for residents affected by a recent tornado, demonstrating the CalamBagong Pamahalaan’s commitment to responsive and compassionate governance.

During the visit, Mayor Rizal spearheaded the distribution of financial assistance to families whose homes and livelihoods were impacted by the calamity. In addition, a Food for Work program was rolled out, offering affected residents both sustenance and an opportunity to contribute to community recovery efforts.

As part of the city’s annual commitment to early childhood education, the local government also distributed free bags, school supplies, and uniforms to all Day Care students in the barangay—ensuring that the youngest learners are equipped as they begin their educational journey.

“Tapat na paglilingkod, alay ko po sa inyo!” said Mayor Rizal, reaffirming his dedication to public service. “In every decision I make, the welfare of the people remains my guiding principle. Together, let’s continue to build a safer, stronger, and more progressive Calamba.”

The initiative is part of the city’s broader disaster response and social welfare efforts, emphasizing preparedness, compassion, and unity in times of need.
