Mekeni Cracks Down on Fake Sales Agents Amid Rising Fraud Reports

Luzon, Philippines – Mekeni Food Corporation has issued a public advisory warning retailers and customers across Luzon about individuals falsely posing as official sales agents of the company. The impostors have reportedly been targeting sari-sari stores and small business owners, offering unauthorized or counterfeit Mekeni products.

“We take this matter seriously as it affects not only our business but also the trust of our loyal customers and partners,” said Paulo Orfinada, Head of Sales at Mekeni Food Corporation. “We urge everyone to remain vigilant and only transact with verified Mekeni representatives.”

To protect the public, Mekeni emphasized that its legitimate sales agents never collect payment before the delivery of products. The company is urging retailers and the general public to confirm the identity of sales agents through Mekeni’s official hotline at +639 45 458 0000 local 3707 or by visiting their official website.

Mekeni also encouraged those who encounter suspicious individuals claiming to represent the brand to immediately report such incidents to local authorities or LGUs to prevent further fraudulent activities.

The company reaffirmed its commitment to consumer safety and product authenticity, assuring the public that it is actively addressing the situation.

“Your safety and trust remain our top priorities,” Orfinada added. “Please stay alert and make sure you’re only dealing with authorized Mekeni personnel.”
