QUEZON—Muli na namang nakasabat ang mga miyembro ng Quezon Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit ng mahigit 2 milyong pisong halaga ng hinihinalang shabu sa isinagawang drug buy bust operation sa may Purok 3A, bahagi ng Brgy. Dalahican Lucena City Biyernes ng madaling araw (July 18, 2025).

Base sa isinumiteng Report ni Quezon Provincial Director PCOL Romulo Albacea kay PRO4 Regional Director PBGEN Jack Wanky, dakong alas 12:24 ng madaling araw sa isinagawang drug buy bust operation ng QPDEU nadakip ang dalawang drug pusher na sina Ruel Baria Santiago aka Ruel at Rose Ann Mendoza Oabel na pawang mga residente ng nasabing lugar.

Nakuha sa posesyon ng mga suspek ang 7 piraso ng heat sealed transparent plastic sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na tumitimbang ng nasa 100 gramo humigit kumulang at nagkakahalaga sa street value ng 2,040,000.00 pesos at perang 1,000.00 pesos na ginamit ng pulis bilang buy bust money.

Ito na ang Ikalawang pagkakataon na milyong halaga ng droga ang nasabat ng Quezon PDEU sa buy bust operation sa halos wala pang isang buwan na pagkakapwesto ni PCOL Albacea bilang Provincial Director ng Quezon Province.

Kasalukuyang nakakulong sa Lucena City PNP costudial facility ang dalawang nahuli at nahaharap sa mga kasong paglabag sa Section 5 and Section 11 ng RA 9165.
