Calamba City, Laguna — Amid continuous downpours, Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal once again showed hands-on leadership and genuine concern for the people of Calamba.

Showing unwavering dedication, Mayor Rizal visited the evacuation center in Barangay Sampiruhan on Tuesday night to personally check on families temporarily displaced by the heavy rains. “We made sure they have access to food and basic needs, and that they are safe and comfortable,” he said.

At the same time, he led an inspection of the Calamba Baywalk to ensure the safety of the area amid rising water levels. His visit underscores the city’s proactive stance on disaster preparedness and response.

“We continue to monitor every corner of Calamba tonight through the City Government’s Command Center. We are on full alert 24/7 to ensure the safety and readiness of our city,” Mayor Rizal shared.

Rescue vehicles and boats have already been pre-positioned and are on standby, ready to respond at any moment.

Known for his tireless public service, Mayor Ross Rizal remains a visible and dependable leader, embodying compassion and vigilance especially during times of crisis — always working for the welfare of every Calambeño.
