QUEZON—Isinilbi ng Quezon PIU ang isang search warrant na ipinalabas sa sala ni Hon.Judge Agripino Roxas Bravo ng Regional Trial Court,Fourth Jusicial Region,Lucena City sa bahay ng isang lalaki sa may Brgy.Manggalang Uno,bayan ng Sariaya na nagresulta ng pagkakaaresto sa suspek.

Kinilala ni Quezon Provincial Director PCOL Romulo Albacea ang suspek na si Felix Alano Esteves residente ng nabanggit na barangay.

Base sa report ni Quezon PIU PLTCOL Ruben Ballera na namuno sa search warrant operation dakong alas 7:00 ng umaga ng isagawa ng mga operatiba ng Quezon PIU ang paghalughog at pagsisiyasat sa bahay ni Esteves,nakuha sa loob ng tahanan nito ang isang baril na kalibre 45 at dalawang magazine na kargado ng mga bala.

Dahil nabigo ang suspek na magpakita at maglabas ng kaukulang firearm license at dokumento ay inaresto ito ng mga pulis.

Kasalukuyang nakakulong sa Sariaya PNP costudial facility si Esteves at sinampahan na ito ng kasong paglabag sa RA 10591 illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

Samantala naniniwala si PD Albacea na sa kanilang maigting na pagsisilbi ng mga search warrant para sa mga loose firearms sa lalawigan ng Quezon ay upang hindi na magamit pa ang mga iligal na baril sa krimen ng mga gun for hire criminals at tuluyan ng mabawasan ang mga kaso ng pamamaril sa lalawigan partikular sa ikalawang distrito ng Quezon kung saan ay nakapagtala ng mataas na bilang ng shooting incident nitong nakaraang pamunuan ng Quezon Provincial Police Office (QPPO).
