QUEZON — Arestado ang isang tulak ng ilegal na droga sa ikinasang buy-bust operation ng Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) sa Villa Vita Subdivision, Barangay Isabang, Tayabas City, nitong Miyerkules ng madaling araw, Hulyo 30.
Kinilala ni Quezon Police Provincial Director PCOL Romulo Albacea ang suspek na si Reujen Briones Vivar, 29 taong gulang, at residente ng nasabing lugar.
Ayon sa ulat, bandang alas-2:02 ng madaling araw nang isagawa ng PDEU, sa pamumuno ni PLTCOL Ruben Ballera, ang operasyon laban kay Vivar. Nasamsam mula sa suspek ang anim (6) na heat-sealed plastic sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na may tinatayang bigat na 160 gramo at street value na ₱3,325,200.00. Narekober din ang ginamit na marked money na ₱1,000.00.
Kasong paglabag sa Section 5 (Selling of Dangerous Drugs) at Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) ng Republic Act 9165 ang isasampa laban kay Vivar, na kasalukuyang nakakulong sa custodial facility ng Tayabas City PNP.
