Eldar the Wizard Marks 30 Years of Magic at Enchanted Kingdom’s Mega Birthday Bash

Sta. Rosa City, Laguna — Enchanted Kingdom, the Philippines’ first and only world-class theme park, celebrated three decades of magic with the grand birthday celebration of its most iconic character, Eldar the Wizard, last August 2 at the Spaceport Grounds.

Dubbed Eldar’s Mega Birthday Bash, the event served as the grand culmination of a month-long tribute to the beloved homegrown character who has inspired values, joy, and enchantment among Filipinos since EK opened its gates in 1995.

Throughout July, park guests participated in fun pre-birthday activities, including a whimsical search for missing invitations and hats, and the heartwarming “The Birthday Giver” drive, where toys, clothes, and non-perishable goods were donated for a worthy cause.

The festivities kicked off with a royal welcome from Faerie King and Queen, followed by spectacular performances from EK’s homegrown talents, SMS and Kingsmen. Guests were also treated to the original theater production The Enchanted Story of Eldar the Wizard: Volume Two, which showcased the diverse cultures of the Park’s themed zones through music and dance.

Eldar’s big day also became a day of giving, as children from Casa dei Bambini Home for Children and Southville Foundation enjoyed a magical experience and received proceeds from The Birthday Giver initiative. Parkgoers joined in creative hands-on activities such as coloring, slime making, and face painting at Eldar’s Theater.

The celebration peaked with a vibrant Birthday Parade, a spectacular fireworks display, and a candle-blowing ceremony joined by Eldar, fellow EK characters, and sponsor mascots.

The magical day was made possible with the support of major sponsors including Klook, Coca-Cola, Cherifer, Krispy Kreme, RCBC, McCormick, and many more, as well as tenant partners like Shakey’s, Dairy Queen, Hap Chan, and Potato Corner.
