Sa isa pang insidente sa Brgy. Del Rosario, Lopez, Quezon, isang menor de edad na babae ang ginahasa at pinatay ng pamangkin ng kanilang guardian gamit ang isang screwdriver.
Ayon sa Lopez Police, pansamantalang nakikitira ang biktima at kanyang kapatid sa bahay ng tiyahin ng suspek habang ang kanilang ina ay nagtatrabaho sa Maynila. Bandang alas-1:30 ng madaling araw ng Martes nang madiskubre ng kapatid ang duguang katawan ng biktima at agad humingi ng saklolo.
Isinugod pa sa Quezon Provincial Hospital Network – Magsaysay District Hospital ang biktima ngunit idineklarang dead on arrival.
Kinilala ang suspek na isang 19-anyos na garbage collector, na nakatira rin sa parehong bahay. Ayon sa imbestigasyon, lasing umano ang suspek nang pasukin ang tulugan ng magkapatid, gahasain ang biktima, at saksakin gamit ang screwdriver.
Narekober ang ginamit na sandata sa loob ng kwarto, at kinumpirma ng pagsusuri ng doktor na ginahasa ang biktima. Agad nagsagawa ng follow-up operation ang Lopez PNP at naaresto rin ang tumakas na suspek, na nahaharap ngayon sa kasong Rape with Homicide.
