Nahuli ang suspek, na kinilala lamang sa pangalang alyas Jona sa isang entrapment operation ng PDEA at iba pang yunit sa sa Brgy. Longos, sa bayan ng Mataas na Kahoy matapos magsumbong ang isang aplikante na nais sanang pumasok sa PAF.
Nagbayad ang biktima ng P32,000 sa GCash bilang paunang bayad para mapabilis ang aplikasyon nito.
Subalit nang humingi pa ang suspek ng karagdagang P89,000 para masiguro ang slot, naghinala na ang biktima at agad na nag-ulat sa pulisya.
Lumalabas sa imbestigasyon na matagal nang hindi konektado sa serbisyo ang suspek kaya sinampahan na ito ng mga kasong Estafa, Usurpation of Authority, at Robbery/Extortion.
