Governor Sol Aragones Confined in Hospital, Vows to Continue Laguna Health Programs

Laguna Governor Sol Aragones assured her constituents that her temporary hospital confinement will not hinder her administration’s plans to improve the province’s public hospitals.

In a message, Aragones said, “Hindi po muna ako makaikot ngayon sa mga ospital. Nasa ospital ako ngayon pero mabilis lang ito. Pagkatapos ko dito, tuloy ang pagsasaayos ng mga pampublikong ospital ng Laguna.”

Supporters and residents of Laguna quickly sent prayers and well-wishes for the governor’s speedy recovery.

However, some critics questioned why Aragones did not seek treatment in a Laguna-based hospital, asking whether this decision reflected a lack of trust in the very healthcare facilities she now leads.

Governor Aragones, who only recently assumed office after her victory in the May elections, has made healthcare development one of her top priorities. She earlier emphasized that modernizing hospitals across Laguna is central to her administration’s mission of providing better services for the people.
