QUEZON — Sa pinaigting na kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga,nadakip ng Quezon Provincial Police Office (QPPO) Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) joint operation ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), ang isang High Value Individual (HVI) sa isinagawang drug buy-bust operation sa may Pleasantville Subdivision, Barangay Ilayang Iyam, Lucena City,nitong Biyernes ng gabi August 16, 2025.
Kinilala ang suspek sa alyas na “Dags,” 29-anyos, mekaniko at residente ng Brgy. Gulang-Gulang, Lunsod na nabanggit..
Naaresto ito matapos makipagtransaksyon sa undercover operative na pulis at ibenta ang hinihinalang shabu kapalit ng mark money 1,000.00 pesos
Nakumpiska mula sa posesyon ng drug pusher ang limang sachet ng hinihinalang shabu na may kabuuang bigat na 87 gramo, at tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng 1.7milyong piso sa street value.
Kasalukuyang nakakulong ang suspek sa Lucena PNP costudial facility at sinampahan na ng kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11 ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Ayon kay Quezon Provincial Director PCOL Romulo A. Albacea, ang mga drug operation na kanilang isinasagawa ay mas higit pa nilang paiigtingin upang masawata at mapuksa ang bentahan at pagkalat ng iligal na droga sa buong lalawigan ng Quezon.
