DRUG SUSPECT DIED DURING BUY-BUST OPERATION, ONE KILOGRAM OF SHABU CONFISCATED

More or less one kilogram of suspected shabu were confiscated by joint operatives of PDEA Cavite Provincial Office and PDEA Regional Office National Capital Region-Southern District Office and Special Operations Unit Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group during a buy-bust operation in a hotel in Parañaque City.

On August 19, 2025 at around 10:30 in the evening, a buy-bust operation transpired which resulted in the arrest of three drug suspects, but unfortunately, during the arrest, one of the suspects resisted and stabbed one of the operatives which prompted the operatives to grapple the knife from him and
subdue him. In the middle of the commotion, the suspect had difficulty of breathing then fell unconscious. He was brought to the hospital for medical intervention but eventually died of a heart attack and was identified as Stephen, 49, single, resident of Makati City, while the two others where identified as alias Mohamad, a German Syrian national , 32, single, jobless, resident of Barangay Poblacion Makati; and alias Mikhaela, 24, single, jobless, resident of Project 6, Quezon City.

Confiscated from the suspects were more or less 1000 grams of suspected shabu, buy-bust money and one piece glass tooter pipe.

Cases for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) Section 12 (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia) and Section 15 ( Use of Dangerous Drugs) will be filed against the arrested suspects who are temporarily detained at PDEA Regional Office 4a Custodial Facility in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.
