Shopee Rider Arestado sa Droga sa Checkpoint sa Caloocan

Caloocan City — Arestado ang isang Shopee rider matapos mahulihan ng iligal na droga sa isinagawang border control operation ng DFMB-NPD sa Evergreen BCP, Phase 9, Barangay 176, Huwebes ng gabi, Agosto 21, 2025.

Ayon sa ulat, nagsasagawa ng Oplan Sita ang mga tauhan ng DFMB-NPD sa pangunguna ni PLTCOL Cielo L. Caligtan, OIC Force Commander, sa ilalim ng direktang superbisyon ni PMAJ Rolando B. Balistoy, 2nd PSC Commander, at katuwang ang mga pulis mula sa SS12 na pinamumunuan ni PMAJ Edsel R. Ibasco.

Habang nagpapatrolya, napansin ng mga pulis ang isang motorcycle rider na walang suot na helmet. Pinahinto ang suspek at inutusan na buksan ang compartment ng kanyang motorsiklo. Doon natagpuan ang tatlong sachet ng hinihinalang marijuana leaves with fruiting tops.

Kinilala ang suspek na si Alyas Yuan. Narekober mula sa kanya ang isang medium heat-sealed plastic sachet na may humigit-kumulang 12 gramo ng marijuana na tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng ₱1,400.

Mariing itinanggi ni Oniado na siya ay nagbebenta ng marijuana. Sa kasalukuyan, nasa kustodiya na siya ng DFMB-NPD para sa karagdagang imbestigasyon at proseso.

Binasahan ng karapatan ang suspek na nahaharap ngayon sa kasong paglabag sa Section 11 ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Sa kabuuan, 10 motorsiklo at 7 sasakyan ang na-flag down sa operasyon, habang isang traffic ticket ang na-isyu.
