3 Patay sa Pamamaril sa Sta. Rosa City, Suspect Nakipagbarilan sa mga Pulis

Sta. Rosa City, Laguna — Tatlo ang nasawi sa pamamaril na naganap ngayong Linggo ng umaga, Agosto 31, 2025, sa Olympia Subdivision, Barangay Labas.

Kinilala ni PLTCOL. Benson Pimentel ang suspek na si Nestor Paglinawan, na unang binaril ang kanyang pamangkin na si Dexter Paglinawan, 52-anyos, sa loob mismo ng kanilang gate kaya agad na tumawag ang mga residente sa 911.

Matapos nito, inabangan umano ng suspek ang kanyang kapitbahay na si Victor Galban, 65-anyos, at binaril sa kanto sa kalsada. Sa mabilis na pagdating ng mga rumespondeng pulis, pinaputukan umano sila ng suspek dahilan upang gumanti ang mga awtoridad. Tinamaan si Paglinawan at bumagsak malapit lamang kay Galban.

Ayon sa mga residente, nagtakbuhan sila sa loob ng kanilang mga bahay dahil sa sunod-sunod na putok ng baril at sa takot na baka sila ang tamaan ng mga bala.

Batay sa imbestigasyon, tinitingnang motibo ng pamamaril ang bintang ng suspek na isinumbong siya ng mga biktima bilang gumagamit ng iligal na droga, dahilan upang siya ay mapasailalim sa rehabilitation at inalis din sa trabaho sa Barangay nila. Ayon sa ilang kaanak, madalas umanong pinariringgan ng mga biktima ang suspek na muling ibabalik sa rehab, na posibleng nagdulot ng paranoia at nag-udyok sa pamamaril.

Patuloy pa ang imbestigasyon ng Sta. Rosa City Police sa insidente.
