QUEZON—Binigyan ng parangal at pagkilala ang Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) at ang Provincial Director na si PCOL Romulo Albacea, nitong Lunes, Setyembre 8,sa isinagawang flag raising ceremony sa matagumpay na operasyon ng Quezon PNP laban sa isang notoryus na grupo ng mga ‘gun-for-hire’ sa naturang Lalawigan.

Ginawaran ng parangal at medalya ng kagalingan si PCOL Albacea sa ginanap na seremonya sa Police Regional Office 4A na nakabase Camp Vicente P. Lim, Calamba City, Laguna.

Ayon sa PRO 4A, ang parangal ay kumikilala sa mabilis na pagpaplano,at mahusay na aksyon ng ibat ibang mga yunit ng pulisya sa Quezon na nagresulta sa pagkakapatay sa tatlong miyembro ng naturang grupo sa bayan ng Calauag at Sariaya kamakailan.

Ang mga suspek ay sinasabing sangkot sa iba’t ibang kaso ng pamamaslang at gunrunning sa iba’t ibang bayan partikular sa mga bayan ng ikalawang distrito ng lalawigan.

Sinabi ni PBGEN Paul Kenneth Lucas, Regional Director ng PRO 4A na ang matagumpay na operasyon na ito ay nagpapakita ng dedikasyon ng Quezon PPO at Provincial Director sa pagtiyak ng kaligtasan ng komunidad laban sa mga organisadong grupo.

Binibigyang-diin din ng Regional Director ang kahalagahan ng mabilis at epektibong pagtutulungan ng mga yunit ng pulisya, na naaayon sa misyon ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na magkaroon ng mas ligtas at mapayapang komunidad.
