3 ARESTADO SA ILIGAL NA LPG REFILLING OPERATION P7.8M HALAGA NG PRODUKTO NASABAT NG CIDG

BATANGAS—Naaresto ang tatlong katao at nakumpiska ang tinatayang P7.8 milyong halaga ng hinihinalang ilegal na liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at mga kagamitan sa pagre-refill matapos ang isinagawang operasyon ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) sa San Jose, Batangas.

Base sa report isinagawa ng mga operatiba ng CIDG Regional Field Unit 4A, katuwang ang LPGMA Party List Task Force at lokal na pulisya, ang operasyon sa Priority Gas Corporation sa Sitio Ibaba, Barangay Natunuan.

Nahuli sa akto ang tatlong suspek, na kinilalang sina Guillerma, Romel, at Gerald, pawang residente ng nasabing barangay, habang isinasagawa umano ang pagre-refill ng mga LPG cylinder nang walang lisensya, na isang paglabag sa regulasyon ng Department of Energy (DOE).

Kabilang sa mga nakumpiska ng mga awtoridad ang walong refilled na LPG cylinder na may tatak na Regasco at Maxx Gas, 193 na empty cylinder ng iba’t ibang brand, mga refilling machine, compressor, timbangan, isang trailer bullet truck na may lamang 38,000 litro ng LPG, at isang delivery truck ang kabuuang halaga ng mga nasamsam ay umabot sa P7,824,928.82.

Binigyang-diin ni PMGEN Robert Morico II, Acting Director ng CIDG, na labag sa batas ang pagre-refill, pagbebenta, o paggamit ng mga LPG cylinder na may tatak ng ibang kumpanya nang walang kaukulang pahintulot.
