Calamba City, Laguna — A historic tee-off for unity, sportsmanship, and friendship took place as Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal spearheaded the 1st Mayor Ross Rizal Cup Golf Tournament 2025 held on October 27, 2025, at the Ayala Greenfield Golf and Leisure Club in Barangay Puting Lupa, Calamba City.

The inaugural golf tournament brought together local officials, business leaders, and golf enthusiasts in a spirited celebration of camaraderie and healthy competition.

Mayor Ross Rizal emphasized that the event was organized not only to strengthen the bond among golfers but also to promote tourism, wellness, and an active lifestyle among Calambeños.

“This tournament symbolizes our shared drive for a healthier, more vibrant, and united Calamba,” Mayor Rizal said, noting that sports and recreation play a vital role in fostering community spirit and attracting visitors to the city.

The success of the 1st Mayor Ross Rizal Cup Golf Tournament 2025 marks the beginning of what is expected to become an annual sporting tradition that highlights Calamba City’s commitment to excellence, wellness, and local tourism development.
