CALAMBA CITY, Laguna — The holiday spirit came alive as SM City Calamba officially launched its Christmas Carnival centerpiece, featuring dazzling lights and festive displays that brought joy to mallgoers and guests on Wednesday night.

The grand lighting ceremony showcased a sparkling 30-foot Christmas tree, a 12-foot Ferris wheel, and a 10-foot Candy Cane Lane, perfectly capturing the magic and whimsy of the season.

The event was graced by Lara Erika S. Landicho, Chief of Staff of Laguna Governor Sol Aragones; Matt Palentinos, Chief of Staff of Congresswoman Charisse Hernandez-Alcantara; CJ Panaligan-Bustria, Executive Assistant I from the Office of Calamba City Mayor Roseller “Ross” Rizal; Allan Silva from the Office of Vice Mayor Angelito Lazaro Jr.; and Francis Fajardo, Community Affairs Officer III from the Cultural Affairs, Tourism, and Sports Development Office.

They were joined by SM Assistant Vice President for South 3 Angel Toreja, SM City Calamba Mall Manager Evelyn Verzola, and Assistant Mall Manager Earth Olazo.

The evening was filled with music, laughter, and performances, officially ushering in the yuletide season with warmth and togetherness at SM City Calamba.
