Under the initiative of Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal to ensure that every Calambeño receives quality public service, the City Government of Calamba successfully conducted back-to-back social pension payouts for senior citizens in Barangay Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna.
On November 6, 2025, the city government held the first batch of the Calamba City Social Pension distribution for the 2nd Quarter, benefiting 8,770 senior citizens. The following day, November 7, 2025, the second batch of the 2nd Quarter payout took place at the Barangay Hall Covered Court (Main), with 4,450 additional senior citizens receiving their pensions.
Representatives of Mayor Ross Rizal personally joined the event to extend his heartfelt gratitude and continuing compassion for the city’s elderly residents. In his message, Mayor Rizal expressed appreciation to all senior citizens for their enduring contributions to Calamba’s growth and assured them of the local government’s unwavering commitment to their welfare.
These consecutive payouts reflect Mayor Ross Rizal’s dedication to inclusivity and care, ensuring that every qualified senior citizen in Calamba benefits from the city’s social programs.
