CALAMBA CITY — Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal convened all 54 barangay chairmen of Calamba City to discuss key matters aimed at ensuring public welfare and effective local governance.

During the meeting, Mayor Rizal emphasized three major agenda points:
✅ Preparations for the incoming Typhoon #UwanPH, ensuring readiness and coordinated response in all barangays;
✅ Updates on ongoing and upcoming development projects, highlighting the city’s continued efforts toward inclusive progress; and
✅ Reminders on the prudent and lawful use of public funds for Christmas parties, assemblies, and anniversaries, in line with Department of Budget and Management (DBM) circulars.

Mayor Rizal underscored the importance of cooperation among local leaders to maintain safety, promote sustainable development, and uphold transparency and accountability in public service.

“Patuloy ang ating koordinasyon at pagtutulungan upang matiyak ang kaligtasan, kaunlaran, at responsableng pamamahala sa bawat barangay ng ating lungsod,” Mayor Rizal said.
