Mas Lalong Lumala ang Trapiko sa Calamba Matapos Alisin ang POSO sa Pagmando, Motorista Umaalma

Calamba City, Laguna — Mas lumala ang daloy ng trapiko sa Calamba matapos pansamantalang itigil ng Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) ang manual traffic management bilang tugon sa reklamo ng ilang netizens na sila umano ang nagpapabigat ng trapiko.

Simula noong December 2, hinayaan ng POSO na umandar nang tuloy-tuloy ang traffic lights sa mga pangunahing kalsada sa Bypass Bucal at Halang, at inalis ang kanilang enforcers na karaniwang nagmamando kapag bumibigat ang daloy ng sasakyan.

Sa kanilang official statement, iginiit ng POSO na ang kanilang “BATAK” o “BUHOS” system—mano-manong pag-aalalay sa trapiko—ay idinisenyong mapabilis, hindi pabigatin, ang biyahe sa lungsod.

“Ito ay bilang tugon sa ilang puna at komento sa social media… Nais naming linawin na ang pangunahing layunin ng POSO ay mapabilis ang daloy ng trapiko,” pahayag ng ahensya.
“Patuloy naming binabantayan upang masigurong mas epektibo, maayos, at ligtas ang paggamit ng traffic lights para sa lahat ng motorista.”

Makikitang mas lalung namula ang mga kalsada tanda ng mas ma-traffic ito kumpara sa walang POSO Management

Ngunit ilang araw pa lamang matapos alisin ang on-ground enforcers, dumagsa naman ang reklamo sa social media mula sa mga motorista na nagsasabing mas lalo pang bumigat ang trapiko, lalo na sa Bucal-Pansol area, isang madalas na bottleneck sa lungsod.

Isa sa mga komentong umani ng suporta mula sa netizens ang naglahad:

“Hindi nag-iisip ang mga gustong alisin ang POSO sa pagmamanipula ng kalsada. Ang dahilan ng traffic ay volume ng mga sasakyan — hindi dahil sa POSO.”

Marami ring motorista ang humihiling ngayon na ibalik ang pag-alalay ng POSO sa kalsada, dahil mas nagiging magulo umano ang daloy kapag purely traffic-light system ang gumagana sa mataas na volume ng sasakyan, dagdag pa ang mga pasaway na motorista na hindi marunong magbigayan sa lansangan.

Nagpasalamat naman ang POSO sa patuloy na feedback ng publiko at sinabing mananatili silang nakatutok upang hanapin ang pinakamabisang solusyon sa trapiko sa Calamba.

Noon tuwing weekends lang ang ganyan ka traffic, ngayon kahit weekdays dahil walang pa-buhos ang POSO
