The spirit of Christmas came alive as the Pamaskong Handog 2025 of Calamba City Mayor Roseller ‘Ross’ H. Rizal officially began its distribution, starting in Barangay II under the proactive leadership of Barangay Captain Joanne Mac De Mesa.

On the first day of distribution, Barangay officials, led personally by Kapitana Mac De Mesa, adopted a house-to-house approach to ensure that every family received their blue bag of Christmas provisions. This hands-on method highlighted the barangay’s commitment to making sure no household is left behind this holiday season.

For the majority of barangays, however, residents are required to personally go to their respective barangay halls and present their official stub to claim their Pamaskong Handog. This system was implemented to ensure an organized, fair, and efficient distribution process throughout the city.

The city-wide distribution will run for seven days across all 54 barangays of Calamba City in the days leading up to Christmas. Through this program, Mayor Roseller ‘Ross’ H. Rizal reaffirmed his promise that every Calambeño family will have a complete and joyful noche buena to share on Christmas Eve.

The Pamaskong Handog initiative has become a cherished tradition in Calamba, symbolizing unity, compassion, and the city government’s continuous dedication to the welfare of its people—especially during the most meaningful season of the year.

Residents of Barangay II expressed their gratitude for the timely assistance, noting that the program not only provides food for the celebration but also strengthens the bond between the local government and the community.

As the distribution continues across the city, the Christmas message of hope, sharing, and togetherness continues to shine in every Calambeño home.
