DATI NANG MAY KASONG DROGA, ARESTADO SA BUY-BUST NG SDEU CALOOCAN

Isang matagumpay na anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation ang isinagawa ng Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) ng Caloocan City noong Disyembre 20, 2025, Sabado ng madaling araw bandang alas-2:56, sa Block 51 Lot 36, Casimiro Subdivision, Barangay 168, Caloocan City.

Ayon sa ulat, ang operasyon ay pinangunahan ni PLt. Restie F. Mables, hepe ng SDEU Caloocan City Police Station, sa ilalim ng direktang superbisyon ni Police Colonel Joey T. Goforth, Officer-in-Charge ng Caloocan CPS, at may kaukulang PDEA coordination number na 17-00-12192025-019. Isang pulis ang nagpanggap na poseur-buyer na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto ng mga suspek na sina Arthur Salguero y Del Rosario at Regina Joan Cruz y Adajar, alyas “Jo,” na kapwa dati nang nasangkot sa kaso ng droga.
Nasamsam mula sa mga suspek ang isang medium heat-sealed plastic sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na 4.68 gramo, isang maliit na heat-sealed plastic sachet na may 0.29 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na siyang subject ng bentahan, at isang knot-tied transparent plastic bag na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na 18.05 gramo. Narekober din ang buy-bust money na binubuo ng isang tunay na limang daang pisong papel at anim na pekeng isang libong pisong papel. Tinatayang umabot sa kabuuang 23.02 gramo ang timbang ng shabu na nakumpiska.

Agad na binasahan ng kanilang mga karapatan ang mga suspek at nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Sections 5, 11, at 26 ng Article II ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Itinanggi naman ng mga suspek ang paratang at iginiit na hindi sila nagbebenta ng ilegal na droga.
Sa kasalukuyan, ang mga suspek ay nasa kustodiya na ng SDEU Caloocan para sa karagdagang imbestigasyon at kaukulang proseso.
