DALAWANG HIGH-VALUE TARGET, ARESTADO SA BUY-BUST OPERATION NG PPDEU PANGASINAN

Dalawang lalaking itinuturing na high-value target (HVT) ang naaresto sa isang matagumpay na buy-bust operation na isinagawa ng Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit (PPDEU) ng Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPO) noong Linggo ng gabi, Enero 11, 2026, bandang 11:17 ng gabi, sa Barangay Dulig, Labrador, Pangasinan.
Ayon sa ulat ng pulisya, isinagawa ang anti-illegal drug operation ng mga operatiba ng PPDEU Pangasinan sa pangunguna ng PPDEU Pang. PPO, katuwang ang Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) Pang. PPO, PIT Pangasinan RUI-1, sa ilalim ng direktang superbisyon ni Police Colonel Arbel C. Mercullo, Provincial Director ng Pangasinan PPO. Ang operasyon ay isinagawa nang may koordinasyon sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency–Region 1 (PDEA-RO1), San Fernando City, La Union, sa ilalim ng coordination number 1-00-01112026-011.

Isang pulis ang nagpanggap bilang buyer na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto ng mga suspek na kinilalang sina alyas Daryl John at Alvin Cruz.

Narekober mula sa mga suspek ang sumusunod: isang (1) tunay na ₱1,000 bill na ginamit bilang buy-bust money; apatnapu’t apat (44) na piraso ng ₱1,000 boodle money; isang (1) OPPO 18 smartphone na kulay itim; dalawang (2) wallet na ginamit bilang lalagyan ng hinihinalang ilegal na droga; dalawang (2) unit ng Honda Click motorcycle—isang kulay puti na may plakang 711IJE at isang kulay pula na may plakang 462AXG; at tatlong (3) knot-tied plastic sachet na naglalaman ng puting butil na hinihinalang shabu na may kabuuang timbang na humigit-kumulang 110 gramo, na tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng ₱748,000.00.

Ang mga suspek ay agad binasahan ng kanilang mga karapatan at nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11 ng Republic Act 9165 o ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Mariing itinanggi ng mga suspek ang paratang na sila ay nagbebenta ng ilegal na droga.

Sa kasalukuyan, ang mga suspek ay nasa kustodiya ng PPDEU Pangasinan PPO para sa karagdagang imbestigasyon at kaukulang disposisyon ng kaso.
