Caloocan City — Isang lalaking kinilalang si alyas Jesus Orzal ang nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Section 8 (Manufacture of Dangerous Drugs and/or Controlled Precursors and Essential Chemicals) ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 matapos ang matagumpay na pagpapatupad ng search warrant ng mga awtoridad sa lungsod ng Caloocan.


Isinagawa ang operasyon noong Enero 24, 2026, Sabado ng umaga, bandang alas-8:16 ng umaga sa Phase 8-B Renters Excess Lot, Bagong Silang, Barangay 176-D, Caloocan City. Natanggap ng Station Tactical Operations Center (STOC) ang ulat bandang alas-9:30 ng umaga at natapos ang operasyon dakong alas-10:30 ng umaga sa parehong araw.


Ayon sa ulat, ipinatupad ang Search Warrant No. SW-554 laban kay Jesus Orzal, na inisyu ni Honorable Rodolfo P. Azucena Jr., 1st Vice Executive Judge ng Regional Trial Court Branch 125, Caloocan City, noong Enero 23, 2026. Ang operasyon ay pinangunahan ni PCOL Joey T. Goforth, Chief of Police ng Caloocan City Police Station, sa pamamagitan ng pinagsamang puwersa ng Station Drug Enforcement Unit, Intelligence Section, SWAT, Drug Enforcement Unit, at Police Sub-Station 13 ng CCPS, katuwang ang District Drug Enforcement Unit ng PDEA.


Sa isinagawang paghahalughog sa nasabing lugar, nakumpiska ng mga awtoridad ang iba’t ibang laboratory equipment at kemikal na hinihinalang ginagamit sa ilegal na paggawa ng mapanganib na droga.

Kabilang sa mga narekober ang dalawang lalagyan na naglalaman ng tinatayang dalawampung litro ng liquid chemical substance na pinaghihinalaang Phenylacetone, isang controlled precursor and essential chemical sa ilalim ng R.A. 9165, na may kabuuang bigat na humigit-kumulang 16.95 kilo at tinatayang halagang ₱10,000,500.00. Nakumpiska rin ang mga laboratory-grade glass flasks, separatory funnels, electric laboratory heating mantles, isang stainless steel laboratory heating and mixing base unit, at iba pang kaugnay na paraphernalia at accessories ng laboratory equipment.


Ang buong operasyon ay naitala gamit ang body-worn camera at alternative recording device na pinatatakbo ni PCPL Jemuel Pule, sa presensya ng mga saksi na sina Kagawad Eric Mauyao ng Barangay 178 at Esmael Santos, Pangulo ng CAMANAVA Press Corp.


Lahat ng mga narekober na ebidensya ay isinurnder na sa NPD-Forensic Unit para sa laboratory examination at wastong disposisyon. Samantala, inihahanda na rin ng mga awtoridad ang return of warrant at ang pagsasampa ng reklamo laban sa suspek na kasalukuyang at large sa paglabag sa Section 8 ng R.A. 9165.
